    Revisiting Tobaccos that You’ve Hated...

-Plum Pudding tried it and hated it. Had it again several months later and it was much better but still not a go to blend. -Quiet Nights tasted of odd chemicals to me, didn't like at all. Same with most Pease English variants... then after sitting in an opened tin (plastic lid on) for weeks if...

Building Your Cellar - Things To Consider

Thanks for this post. I hadn't even considered the retirement potential bowl increase. Now it's back to cellaring with new ++ calculations.

Watch City Slices - Can't Figure This One Out

Good stuff. I only have to take this a little slow, since I really have to push it to make it harsh. The consistency of this smoke is a standout from beginning to end. Mildly sweet but no overly so otherwise just consistently pleasant. I wonder if the earthy flavor instead of more nutty...

    Your Own Secret Blend?!?!?

Because they were open and nearing the bottom of each, so not secret or special... 5 or 6 smokes of 2020 Cringle Flake, GH&Co Brown Flake unscented, and Match Elizabethan. Quite enjoyable but I won't often mix Cringle with others as its too enjoyable and limited. The two without Cringle are...

    Author Shaped Popularity??!!

Love the Author shape. 320 is a go to for English blends for me (for no real reason I guess) but my larger Adam Sheehan Author is my joy. It's mostly for my frequent VaPers, Virginias.

***What Are You Smoking, April 2021?***

123 Mixture in a glorious smoking Adam Sheehan Dublin. Going slow with this blend brings out sweet and smoky bbq flavors. It's one of very few blends where I prefer a Bourbon pairing instead of black coffee.

One Blend in One Pipe for One Week

Not because it's a favorite overall, but a favorite in recent weeks for sure... a simple relaxing blend, Match Victorian in a MM straight Mark Twain.

    Newminster 400 Superior Navy Flake

I found it a great quality budget flake, I'm aging a pound or so. As a bonus, being on a low carb diet this flake stuffed in a cob with black coffee really curbs the sweet tooth.

Pipe Smokers Who have Settled on a Few Standbys

After smoking a pipe over a year now I'm certain I would be extremely pleased with only 6-8 blends for life. Unfortunately, the stress of picking them at this point might just end my life. So on with variety for a while.

    Aged Wessex Campaign

Nice review! I cellared several of these targeting 4-5+ years of age. I might have cellared pre 2017 tins more but I never tried them and don't want to fully know what you guys are enjoying. Chasing other blends at the moment.
