    How To Retrohale Without Retrohaling

I also find it fascinating that some people can't retrohale. For me it's as simple as closing my mouth and exhaling through my nose. I genuinely don't understand how anyone could possibly have any difficulty with this whatsoever. Can someone with difficulty retrohaling please describe what...

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

Mediocre at best due to lack of interesting flavor. If I was a nic junky I might smoke it occasionally just for the fix. I'm a person who smokes primarily for flavor and would much rather spend my limited pipe time smoking something I actually enjoy. Thumbs down for me.

    Author Shaped Popularity??!!

My favorite pipes are my Ardor bent apples. Sort of a slim version of a fat author. I had a Sav 320 for a few years. Ended up selling it because it hardly ever got smoked. It did, however, make a fantastic doorstop.

You are Guaranteed to get One Hard-to-get Blend. Which One would You Choose?

I'm fiending for a chunk of Bosun Plug. Not sure why. I have plenty of the cut plug in my stash. Just gotta have it all I guess. I'm also on the hunt for a 500g bag of #7 Broken Flake. If anybody has a lead on one please let me know.

    Esoterica: What is Your Favorite?

Dude ... you're trippin'. Tidepools are awesome and Penzance, while not as spectacular as it's reputation implies, is pretty decent shit. My favorite Eso so far is Pembroke. Still looking to try Ramsgate.

This was me yesterday. Holy crap ... that stuff is fantastic. Pretty much ruined all other VaPers for me.

    Dilemma

I suggest the Self Smoking Pipe. The voice activated lighting feature is just a small part of the 100% hands-off smoking experience it offers.

My ears perk up when @saltedplug steps to the microphone. Love the style of writing as well as the rational perspective he brings to the table. Glad you stayed with us after you quit smoking, Salt. Hope you stick around for many more.

    Fishing Pictures 2021

I was doing a King Crab survey for NOAA (Alaska Fisheries Science Center) when I shot that pic of the salmon snailfish. In AK I've also done a bunch of work for the International Pacific Halibut Commission, worked on a handful of longliners out of Kodiak, seiners out of Homer, and trollers in...

One Blend in One Pipe for One Week

I've been smoking nothing but #7 Broken Flake in a Missouri Pride cob for the last 2-3 weeks and don't intend to stop anytime soon.

Those are different smelt. We do it with A-frame dip nets in the surf on the beaches of Redwood National Park in northern California. The are two smelt species that we harvest here commercially. One that runs during the day and one that runs at night. Most of them go to zoos or aquariums to feed...
