How many bowls do you smoke in a row or in one sitting?
I smoke an average of one bowl a day, but there are days that I load 2. Exam studies usually more than that, sometimes up to 4 in a row, 1 a day is about my average, sometime less- jchaplick

Im on the fabreeze wagon, that and an open window and your set. I live in a tiny studio apartment, I smoke ALL THE TIME in my bedroom/kitchen/parlor/mudroom/I only have one room and it smells while I smoke, and even a bit after, but the next day? nothin... Use fabreeze and keep the window open...- jchaplick

How do get a non-smoker to understand?
Yeah this is a hard one, my girl doesnt like it that I smoke either. I am not planning on stopping anytime soon, I only smoke my pipe, and only maybe 7 or 8 times a week, but I like it and she knows that so she deals with it- jchaplick

My friend just gave me a pouch of all three captain blacks, gold royal and white. smoking royal now, had white earlier, have yet to try gold. the white is good, but the royal is great. Different then what ive been smoking, good change of pace- jchaplick

Ill have to give it a try, I tried maduro, by gl pease. smelled awesome, it was about 7 years aged.....tasted god awful, been looking for a good cigar pipe tobacco guess i could just smoke a cigar, I have about 50 in my humidor that are at least 6 months old, some over a year- jchaplick

Bingo. Yeah, I either hold it by the stem with the bowl hovering behind my fingers, but I have quite large hands,either that or with my thumb and two fingers like a pencil with the stem being the point and the little nubbin of the cutty resting on the meat behind my thumb- jchaplick
