    I agree whole heatedly about this observation. Heavy isnt the word I would use though, mine is more along the lines of if I am smoking something I love, like I will smoke navy flake much slower than, lets say, PA

    I have been trying to find a nice thick one myself, and they arent readily available as far as I can tell. I have ordered a couple and so far my favorite (by alot) is the sherlock pipe by penn valley pipe works at pipeshoppe.com That one is the definite winner by alot
