    A New Rad Pipe

Another beautiful Rad Davis. Congratulations to whoever bought it. Let's keep posting pictures of your new pipes; I enjoy seeing them. I wonder how the balance of this shape is in the mouth. Harris, since you have one, could you give some input here? How is it as a clencher?

    Nutty Tasting Tobacco

To me, the nutty quality is in burleys like Solani Aged Burley Flake and Wessex Burley Slice and to a somewhat lesser degree in Carter Hall. I've smoked them in briars and cobs. For me, the smoking qualities of a cob are best brought out with those blends.

    Piping With a Pal

Sounds like a great evening, thanks for sharing. I see quite a few friendships being established person to person on this forum. I bought a BB&S Rallye of Ebay a while ago and like yours, it's a great smoker.

    What's Your Current Weather Condition?

Nice weather here in Connecticut. I'm glad the 90 degree weather we were having a while ago is over. I am not a hot weather person.

    Strange Problem With a Dunhill

I think that not smoking the pipe for a year caused the wood to dry and shrink. When you smoked it again, it picked up some moisture and tightened up. I have had the same experience with a few pipes that were not smoked for a long while.

    The Den

Great setup, tslex. I hung around with a kid who's father had some guns, when I was a kid. One was a double barrel Parker that was made here in Connecticut, in Meriden. I thought it was a mongrel brand, because it wasn't a Winchester or Remington.lol! I learned years later about Parker's...
