    Best of England

Well thank you very much! It's all good here at my house, we were lucky, closest one passed by about 4 miles away. I just lost some tree limbs. Well, they're not "lost", they're actually in the driveway. :D

    Best of England

"List goes on and on but each country has a rich heritage and something to offer the world, just wish i could visit them all." England has always felt each country has had something to offer. That's why she laid claim to dang near each and every one of them at one time or another.

    Most Recognized Pipe Smoker?

Poor old Oppenheimer was a chain-smoker deluxe! At least according to a great bio-film I watched the other night.

    Kyle Busch

He was cited for "Careless Driving"..."Wreckless Driving"...and "Speeding". That's gonna cost him. But he makes a lot of money. Perhaps fines and citations should based on a percentage of the income listed on last years tax return. That way the working stiff pays $1,000 and the rich guy pays...

What's So Good About English Blends?

English Blends......in my opinion they're just like all other blends,.....some are done well..some are not. Dunhill and Esoterica blends are by far my favorites,....where as everything English from Altadis has ended up in the trash can.

"I always feel it a pity that Churchill didn't smoke a pipe. What do you suppose he'd have smoked?" Well,....you can bet your sweet life it wouldn't have been a Peterson!

    Leprechauns in the shop.

I like the "Tri-Color" look! A pipe fit for Saint Patrick himself! As Uncle Arthur will tell you,...a leprechaun will grant wishes in return for his freedom! But be very wary of tricks.

Lighting Your Tobacco, Zippo -VS- Butane?

No yuri,....it's not just you. I was wondering the same thing. I just started using my Zippo full time not too long ago, I used to wear them out lighting cigarettes back in the 70's,....you're right, it seems like I have to fill the danged thing three times as often as I did years ago,..and I...

Lighting Your Tobacco, Zippo -VS- Butane?

Opinions will vary,....I prefer my Zippo. On the very rare occasion that I can smell the fluid, I don't mind. And it's very rare indeed.

    Joplin Missouri

What a shame. Good video. At about the 2:00 minute mark you can hear what a lot of people describe as the sound of a "train coming". Having been through a couple of them,....it sounds nothing like a train,...it sounds like a tornado. My prayers go out to all of those affected. Thanks for...

Anyone know anything about straight razors?

I did the straight razor thing for quite a while. It can be fun and rewarding. It can also be dangerous. Be very careful and practice on easy area's to begin, and finish the shave with your regular razor. Move on to more difficult areas such as jawline under your lip next, progress slowly. It's...
