    Packing too lightly?

You'll get the hang of it. Tamp a little more to keep the fire burning, it takes a little practice but eventually you become the tobacco and can feel what it needs at the time to keep lit.

    Bad and good news....

Hope you feel better real soon and stick to the pipe, toss the darts.

    The Shining vs. The Exorcist

Both amazing but The Shining for sure. Jack is incredible and there is nothing else like it. Those little girls still freak me out on the big wheels.

I Got Chastised At Work For Smoking

The cob is a great idea, cheap and easy. Let pipe smoke surround the Big Mac's.

    The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

I'm not really into those kind of movies generally but anything with pipe smoking is worth watching, that's for sure. Thx for sharing.

Smoking SG FVF for the first time...

Oh ya, it surely is a little slice of Heaven. I love sipping it and exposing some sweetness that is so hard to put a name on, but it's great.

Penzance, Dunhill & Psychology Book for Sat Afternoon

It is hard to come by. Sometimes you get lucky and it's in stock and you get to it before others, that's pretty well the only way..

Post a Pic of Your Favorite Pipe

Well, forgive me but I'm going to break the rules right off the bat! LOL. It's very hard to determine a favorite, but currently my 2012 St. Pattys Day 80s Bulldog is probably my favorite smoker. However, I also find myself reaching for my Peterson Aran Dublin and my Brigham Chinook as well...

    Tobacco Exports

That is frightening, they better stand up now.

    Smoking Different Blends

I seperate my pipes from Latakia, not from a bad experience but rather why take the chance. I have numerous pipes, so I try to dedicate certain pipes also for certain blends. Generally.

    New additions

    Nice pipes, good job.

    Jarring Unopened Tins?

I've heard tins unopened can be good for 10-20 years, depending on blend.
