Minty/Menthol blends?
I would imagine that menthol would seriously ghost a pipe. 8O Though they weren't my preference when I smoked cigs, I don't recall tasting the menthol in the smoke while it was in my mouth. It wasn't until I took the hit into my lungs that I would feel the cooling effects. Perhaps this is why...- jameral

Depending on how badly you scalded your tongue it may take some time for it to recover. I went through a similar experience when I started the pipe as well. I think that as long as your tongue doesn't hurt, you should be ok.- jameral

That would be my guess too, though it is unlike any other clay that I've seen before. It really is a great little smoker too. -

I was hoping someone could help me identify what kind of pipe this is. This pipe was given to me by a coworker friend of mine. The only lettering on it is on the band which says "Made in England". You can clearly see in the pics that there is a seam that bisects the entire bowl. Any thoughts? -
