abused a pete, and i liked it

Jason, that pipe is too cool! The difference is phenomenal. The way the rustication "pours" down the sides of the bowl and creeps up from the bottom. Excellent!

    Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes

Great review. I smoked my first bowl of Sherlock Holmes last night and I have to agree with you 100%.

    Types of Twist

Bob, thanks for the video and the warning. I'll take it slow and easy. I just have to try a couple of these. When it comes to cigars, I've always preferred full bodied smokes like Joya de Nicaragua Antano. These twists sound very bold and flavorful!

    A Birthday Smoke

Punkpiper, I really like Peterson- Old Dublin & Irish Whiskey. They happen to be 2 of my favorites right now. They don't rely on overly sweet flavorings to taste great. My descriptions of the flavor are probably not the best, but... Old Dublin has a Smoky(similar to barbeque)Sweet, and somwhat...

    Types of Twist

Gawith & Hoggarth have several twists that sound pretty good to me. Sweet Maple, Rum, Sweet Whiskey, Black Cherry, etc. Are there any fans of this these twists? What do you guys think?

    Best of England

The BEST of England? Well, Triumph has to be one of them. My dad had a Bonneville chopper in the seventies. I remember being 3 or 4 with my Captain America helmet on, riding in front of him sitting on the gas tank. Some of the best memories. Music..Where do you start? Robert Plant, Queen...

Peterson Old Dublin - Pipe Tobacco Reviews

I know some of the heavier nictine tobaccos can make a give a person nausea if they smoke it on an empty stomach. I learned that with cigars. I never actually threw up, but came close a few times. SO now when I smoke a pipe, if I think it is a more powerful tobacco, I eat something before I...

What's So Good About English Blends?

I like all of the English blends I've tried so far. Especially Old Dublin. The fact that it's not overly flavored is it's strong suit to me. Smoky, sweet, and a slight spice of some sort. The nicotine seems to be OK as well.

Peterson, St. Patrick's Day, and UPS?

Hey Lowdesertjonathan - Good luck on the bidding and welcome to the forum. And to Dispatch - A raffle? Hmmmm....I may have to pass on that one.

Peterson Old Dublin - Pipe Tobacco Reviews

I just smoked my first bowl. I love it! Smoky, sweet, with a hint of some kind of spice that I can't name. Not quite cinnamon... It burned cool. Probably the coolest burning tobacco I've tried so far. But then again, I'm still very new to this.

Peterson, St. Patrick's Day, and UPS?

I know what you mean. Most of them are way out of my price range too, but this one was very reasonably priced.
