Are You a Right or a Left?

Right handed and right side of my mouth. I hardly ever hold my pipe in my left.

    TAD Today

Nice grab Fnord. Haddo's is something I like to smoke once every couple weeks. It's got it's own ideas about what it wants to give you. Little sips remind me of brown crusty bread. Bigger ones have a "woodish" twist to them. Strangely enough I like smoking it outside when it's damp. I don't...

    My First Bowl of Escudo

I like it when I can sit and let my mind drift. I've found I don't enjoy it as much when I'm on a walk or doing something in the yard. I liked it when I tried it, but it took nearly half the tin for me to love it. Now I just keep it as a treat. I don't want to smoke it everyday but instead...

    Adding a Briar - Maybe

I have two Peterson system pipes and honestly I haven't noticed them smoking any drier then my non system pipes. I always keep a pipe cleaner on hand anyway. Just run it down the stem and it'll get rid of the moisture. Fast puffin is fast puffin. Also some shapes just seem to heat...

    Just Wanted To Say Hello:)

Show of Hands: How Many Here Work in Front of a Computer?

I spend all day with it open in front of me in my office. Then when I finally get out of my office I have a laptop with an air card mounted in my truck. Then when I finish the day, it's back to the computer in my office. Then an hour or two at home finishing up during my busy months. So yeah...

    Getting Down With the Sickness

Yeah. I had something similar happen with the flu this year. I will say though, several strong nose exhales of Haddo's Delight wakes up the ole snout.

A Good Bulk Virginia from SP

Correct Roth. I finished about four ounces of it but I won't plan on reordering it. I haven't decided where I land on Kentuckys yet. I haven't isolated it yet, but they seem to bother my mouth (and tongue) like burleys do, but to a lesser degree. Cavendish however does not seem to and I...

    My God, Your Breath!

I usually brush after a smoke because I don't like the taste that's left. (I brush after coffee too) The only thing she complains about is the lingering pipe smell in my beard. According to her Fabreeze needs to make a product specifically for bearded pipe smokers.

A Good Bulk Virginia from SP

I didn't care for the Newminster all that much. It wasn't that it was "bad", I just didn't like it enough to bump it up to the "must have" list. (Which is all I'm cellaring for now)

    Guilty Pleasure in Pipes

My Mr. Brog Amigo. It's stain is ugly, the stem is plastic, it's "only" Olive wood. But I've never had a bad smoke from it. Never. It actually smokes flakes really well.

    Day Off Work, Treated Myself!

Glad you enjoyed yourself. I'd kill for the ability to have a pint and a smoke at the local place.

    Pictures of Pipe Tobacco

I know. I was riffing on Star Wars. Out of curiosity how dry was it? Sounds like a fantastic experience.

What Does Your Favorite Pipe Say About You?

My favorite is my estate Peterson XL315 with so many fills I named in "Fillzilla". I paid around $42 bucks for it including shipping. It say's, I'm on a self imposed pipe budget, appreciate the value of loyalty over looks, and one day when it's sitting next to my yet unbought hand made pipes...

What Are You Smoking? *February 2013*

Good Morning. At work. About to go sliding around town with a cup of coffee and a CAO Meer filled with Chelsea Morning. Rapidly becoming my favorite "take a break from VaPers" tobacco. You can make it "do" all sorts of stuff.
