Simply put, if your tobacco is in a bag, put it in a mason jar to fit the quantity. You will not regret it! There is no end to quality blends containing Latakia. The problem may be that many beneficiaries of your smoke may not appreciate the Latakia content. Tins or Mason Jars???
C&D tins are not vacuum sealed on purpose to allow some air to remain in the sealed tin to allow aging. Keep your sealed tins "as is" until you open them. Once opened, if you do not plan to smoke it often, then put the tobacco in a mason jar. That is never a mistake. Just screw the lid on...- captainbob
