Please to be explaining the horn.

It seems to be such an enormous chamber, and with the canted bowl, I'm afraid I would set my clothes on fire. Maybe that's just my perception and they're more stable than they look.

Please to be explaining the horn.

This item is for sale on smokingpipes.com: While I think it's beautiful and seemingly well-made, I don't understand the concept. (I smoke mainly flakes and English/Balkans in small cylindrical pipes or large-diameter pipes, respectively, so I suppose my question is, "What's the point? What do...

Can't use credit cards to buy loose tobacco online?

I have purchased pipe tobacco and snuff from Mr. Snuff in Ireland with a credit card. I used MC with no problem. I also use MC for orders from [url=http://smokingpipes.com]null

My Employer Says No To Pipesmagazine

I work in education, teaching in a public high school. I have never tried to log on to this forum even during lunch because I don't want to court trouble. I do know that our school's filters do not allow access to the local opera company's website because of "adult content!" Hah!

    Minimize Pipe Aftereffects

Sometimes I light up when I don't have any particular desire to smoke just so I will smell like a pipe afterward. (My wife likes the pipe aroma. Maybe my natural aroma needs help. :-))

    Hobby vs. Habit: Pipe Smoking

I’m 39 and started smoking a pipe as a teenager. It would seem I have a need for nicotine; I also like chewing tobacco and snuff, but gave those up years ago mostly out of fear of oral cancer - remember Ryan what’s-his-name who died at a young age in the 1980’s and was the (marred) face of the...

    Gatlin-Burlier, Gatlinburg, TN

I was on a high-school band trip to Gatlinburg years ago and all the boys went into that store to buy chewing tobacco. The guys behind the counter sold me a hickory-smoked twist without warning me about its potency; back in the hotel, I bit off about an ounce to prove my mettle. It put me on...

    Any Mead Drinkers?

Kelp: that's almost my story. My father-in-law keeps bees as a small-scale retirement hobby and ran out of things to do with the honey.

    Any Mead Drinkers?

Photoman: there is a mead-maker outside Asheville called Fox Hill. I don't know where in East TN you are, but the meadery is an hour and a half from Johnson City, and that drive is certainly nice. (I don't know if they offer tastings or tours or what - their website doesn't say - but they...

    Krumble Kakes

My only beef with krumble kakes is that I get a good eighth- to a quarter-ounce of dust left in the bottom of a tin and can't figure out how to crumble it so that doesn't happen. I hate to think I lose a pipe's worth of tobacco with every tin. (Yes, I'm cheap.) :-)
