    Never buy a kit if you have a vertical drill.Buy briar and stem separately.Pre-drilled ebauchons are usually of poor quality with bad or no grain and a lot of sand pit.Good ebauchons are sold separately and cost of course a little more.But if you want to make a rusticated why not? Buy a kit.
