I have a The Guildhall London Pipe 296 with the same stampings. These were so faded, apparently with over-buffing, that the seller mistakenly identified it as a TG London Pipe 58. With a jeweler's loupe one can clearly see the 296. It was sold to me as a pre-Cadogan and the stamping style... -

I just received this group 5 "Vintage Wilson 1960s hand-made" chimney/billiard. According to the seller's information, it was probably made in Colorado as a private gift, perhaps as a business promotion or token of appreciation. If that's correct then additional data would be nigh impossible... -

Does this happen to anyone else?
I have a smoke odor atomizer spray that targets tobacco smoke with enzyme interaction. If I spray it in the house while smoking a pipe - say, with a half-smoked pipe resting on the table - the baccy will just smell of the spray with not even a hint left of tobacco aroma at all. Savinelli 320 ks
All of mine as Savinellis (Rossi also makes this shape). I have a Trevi 320ks, a Fuoco 320 ks, a Hercules 320 EX, and a Tundra 320 EX. Not for clenching, particularly the EXs. Great smokers. All smooth finish. Love them all. Get one. My favorite is the Trevi, but they're all good.- eddiegrob

Can a pipe smoke well indefinitely ?
I have a ridiculous number of pipes, bought in different eras and many of them are estate pipes. Most of the estates still smoke great. My oldest pipe that I bought when new is a Savory's Argyll 140 diplomat purchased in the early 1970s. It's still my favorite smoking pipe of all that I own...- eddiegrob
