Can Someone in USA Explain What the Heck These Are:
In deed, no one would want a clear spit container. Ugh. Dang, you must have iron stomach and guts to not spit. The thought is sickening. Double ugh. I saw some pretty messy baccy chewers when I was a kid but they were all old farmers who lived outside in the fields.- macnutz

My grand father used a one quart tomato juice can for "dippin' snuff". He put a big spoon full of "dippin'" snuff in his mouth, under the bottom lip, held it there, and spit into the can. Ah Ha, the plot thickens. There are Two Edwards. So far, my money is on Tampa, only because there was a pic of a funky shaped pipe, parts smooth and parts appeared sand blasted. -

Does Chemical Burn Exist?

I was told that many European racks are designed to hang them stem down and that the bowl down approach is largely a North American thing. Why did you first pick up a pipe?
My reason for taking up the pipe was to get my nic fix without inhaling the stuff but the attraction was more complex. I grew up with my grand parents, I was practically my grandfather's dog. :)He was an ex coal miner and smoked Camels until he died at 85 but his brothers, old farmer friends...- macnutz

An Observation From an Ex Cig Smoker
I too traded the pipe for the cigs this last summer. I have missed them, not at all. I only wish I had taken up the pipe much sooner. My TADs doesn't keep up with my smoking. I go through about four ounces a month. That's to say I smoke a little more than four tins per month. That costs more...- macnutz

Filters and Corn Cobs
I used the filtre when I got my first MM. Tossed it after four or five bowls, never had any problems. I'm very interested in those "forever stems" as I don't care for the plastic.
