Sadest experience watching a new pipe smoker.
A few years ago an acquaintance of mine got his hands on a corncob.It was the first and last time I have ever seen a bonfire in a pipe bowl.He claimed he enjoyed it as he drew in like a hoover vacuum cleaner.Never seen him with a pipe again. Very nice flanative.At one time I used pure carnauba wax to go over old furniture such as dressers for customers.The more you rubbed the finish,the more it gave the wood grain a 3-D appearance.Women would beg for the product and its name,but I couldn't let them know what it was for future income... -

What got you started on pipes?
The craftsmanship and the quality of the pipe.It just deserved to be smoked,and I came to enjoy it once I slowed down and smoked it gently for a cool smoke.I can't remember the last time I had tongue bite because of making the tobacco on the drier side just before loading.That has kept me always...- ernest
