    Savinelli Pipe Thoughts

I think there's good reason why so many people have responded to the thread - they are great pipes! I love all of the pictures provided too, cool to see the pipes others enjoy. I actually have funds for one more purchase, and then my PAD will be satisfied. Even though I just got two new savs...

    First savinelli purchase reccomendations

Honestly I don't think you can wrong with a savinelli. They have shapes and finishes to match a wide array of preferences, and they smoke great. I have four at the moment and I'm looking to get more; they have become my preferred pipe brand. The finish is sort of personal - I really like the...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

I find that happens with certain blends - sometimes the first few times you smoke it, it might not appeal to you. I like to buy at least a couple of ounces of a new blend just to make sure that I have plenty of opportunities to make sure that I don't like it. And hey, if I find something I...

    Savinelli Pipe Thoughts

I would have to agree guys! Savinelli is quickly becoming my preferred brand of pipe, and I find myself reaching for them more often than I do my artisan pipes even. When I started smoking pipes a couple of years ago I knew that a lot of people recommended/swore by Savinellis - now I can...

    Do you inhale?

No inhaling for me (at least not intentionally, lol). I find smoking my pipe is incredibly relaxing - I don't need to inhale it in order to enjoy it. But I have also never smoked cigarettes, so my outlook will inevitably be different from yours.

For All The New Folks....Cigrmasters List of Flakes

Thanks for the list cigrmaster. When I first started smoking pipes a couple of years ago, I actually ran across some of your posts teaching others how to use the cube cut method. I tried it out when I smoked Marlin Flake - one of my favorite tobaccos - and that's the only way I smoke it now...

    Savinelli Pipe Thoughts

I got both pipes in the mail yesterday, and I've got to say that I'm very happy with my purchases. I absolutely fell in love with the appearance and feel of the 606 KS model and I'm very excited to smoke it. It has a deep bowl, but it's very pleasing in the hand and just feels..right. Hard to...

    SmokingPipes.com Awesome Customer Service

Agreed! Have had nothing but positive experiences with smokingpipes and they are my preferred source of pipe related purchases (along with 4noggins).

    Youtube Pipe Smokers

"This would be the whole point of having YOUR OWN channel. To talk and ramble about whatever you want, for as long as you like." +1

    Youtube Pipe Smokers

Honestly I think you should do whatever you want. I mean they are YOUR videos - I think you should just be yourself and talk about whatever you prefer. I think the beginners review sounds like an awesome idea to begin with and as you get into it your channel could evolve into whatever you want...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

Gotcha, will definitely try it out; plan on trying WBCDF and a couple more 4noggins and C&D's blends as well. Thanks all!

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

I think that's the best part of this hobby though - what one person loves, others may not care for at all. It's just so personal that it makes the whole pipe smoking experience a unique journey that is different for everyone. Appreciate all of the feedback so far. To respond to Andy, I guess...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

Thanks eric, it's funny you mentioned it because I had actually thrown a 4 oz order of stormfront in my cart (haven't placed the order yet, but it's in there, lol). I had seen it mentioned in a forum post from some time ago. Haven't had a blend with cigar leaf, so it should be interesting...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

Thanks all, I am going to be looking into some blends from c&d as suggested, including epiphany. I've had samples of TBM and essence of Vermont - I thought they were decent blends, would smoke them again. I thInk I'll order some other blends from 4noggins like Weybridge and Nutty Professor as...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

Excellent, thanks Harris - will add a couple tins to my order (assuming it it still in stock). Cob - thanks for the list! I do have some PW I got as a sample. I didn't care for Lancers Slices, and even though I have only smoked it a few times it just didn't click. I may pm you for a trade if...

Anyone here a one or two trick pony?

I have found that I enjoy three blends far more than others: 4 Noggins Bald Headed Teacher, Rattray's Marlin Flake, and Lane Limited Black Raspberry for an aro. With that being said, I have only been smoking for a couple of years and I lack the experience many of you have. Trying to diversify...

    4 Noggins TAD Suggestions

Hey all! I'm going to be placing a TAD order soon, and would like to get some suggestions! I have found myself drawn to Bald Headed Teacher by 4 Noggins more every time I smoke it. I absolutely love this stuff! If I had to choose one pipe tobacco to smoke for the rest of my life, it would be...

Brigadier Black First Impressions: Bull Run

Thankful for this bump. I enjoy occasional aros (1q and lane limited black raspberry) and have debated purchasing a couple of these. Compared to those two main lane aros, how are these tibaccos? Curious about Gettysburg and Sherman's march. I love the historical references and the tin art...

Stanwell Brushed Black Budget Pipe Now Offered in Brown Brushed Finish

Do you have any experience with Stanwells? There have been mixed reviews/opinions after their production moved locations. Regardless, I would still like to invest in one sometime soon. Haha, these forums have a way of instigating PAD..not good for budgets lol
