Funnily anise is one of the last few flavors I have to acclimate myself to. For me (a noob), pipes caused nose irritation on retrohale, found out it was due to perique. Cigars occasionally give me that same bit of spicy irritation but I think it's due to heat for now, perhaps high nicotine of the maduros I enjoy... with a pipe I usually smoke filters. Game changer smoke
I have been quite good with cadence, never been an issue (I played bassoon in high school)... However for the first few weeks I think I packed my bowls too tightly. I switched from thick shake to drinking light liquids through a straw and I enjoy it far more.- Kooky
