Incense-like Character in Blends?
I’ve noticed, and enjoyed, a flavor and aroma that reminds me of incense in a general way (as if it’s not particularly frankincense, myrrh, etc.) when smoking some blends. Had my first taste of Bengal Slices in a Peterson 302. On opening the tin I smelled the anise, a spice I abhor, and thought “Why didn’t I read some reviews?!”. I took the plunge and loved it. Anise is not for eating, it’s for smoking. Who knew?- PiedmontPipe
