Best Way To Derp Clean a Pipe
The cake is a myth... or at least so I've been told ? Many here don't believe in building cake. I keep the cake in my pipes to a minimum by wiping the bowl with paper towel after every smoke. If your pipe has gone a bit sour it may help giving the bowl/inside of the stummel a warm water flush...- Gecko

Best Way To Derp Clean a Pipe
I use a gentle warm water flush and alcohol dipped pipe cleaners and paper towels, just be careful of the stain as alcohol may remove it if it gets on the outside of your pipe. If you are chasing ghosts there's also the salt or damp coffe grounds methods.- Gecko

Old Spice, Tabac and Brut must be the trifecta of 70's/80's manly scent in the nordic countries. Brings back childhood memories :) There is even a quite successful Swedish trotting stud farm named for the aftershave Tabac. Personally I'm a Hega man, old school after shave alcoholic splash...- Gecko

What are You Reading Now?
I loved James Clavells Asian Saga when I read it, although Shogun isn't my favorite book in it, a bit long winded at times as I remember it. If you want more (better imho) Clavell after Shogun I recommend King Rat, great book set in a Japanese WW2 POW camp.- Gecko

Enjoy Tobacco and Nicotine in Other Forms?
In my experience it hits pretty fast but doesn't last very long. Probably varies between brands, strengths etc. I much preferred the slow steady flow of lady N from real tobacco snus pouches. The tobacco free nicotine pouches are better than patches or gum but still not "the real thing" imho...- Gecko

Used to have a 20 pouches per day snus habit, complimented by infrequent cigar, cigarette and pipe smoking. Took a month long complete nicotine break this January and then decided to only pick up the pipe (daily) and occasional cigar moving forward.- Gecko
