Do You Have A Preferred Shape?
I know it is boring and utterly unexciting, but I love the classic dublins and the traditional billiard and billiard-like-variations such as lovats, canadians and liverpools. I love both straight and bent dublins and billiards. Most of my main pipe rotation consists of these shapes. -
Dedicated Pipes
I long for VaBur and Burley flakes, not English or Oriental blends, so de facto I have all my pipes dedicated to VAs, VABur and VAper tobaccos: with these I just grab the size of the pipe bowl for the smoke-time I desire. Anything with Latakia or other 'exotic' tobaccos (to my tastes) is smoked... -

Favorite Navy Flake?
Doblone D'Oro and Dark Twist and LNF & LBF -- but age them... The stokkebye's I have was bought in 2017; smooooth now. Another i love is capstan blue -- a great flake and apparently was a favourite of tolkein's...- thomasw

Solitary sometimes. But often my wife and my dog sit with me, which I like. Rarely I smoke with a few close friends who also smoke their own pipes.- thomasw

What Pipe Brand Don’t You Own But Want To?
I love Castellos and have more than a few; they smoke so well. Same with Cavicchi pipes. But I have always wanted what Peck showed us years ago on this forum, the Michael Parks Long Shanks collection!
