Does Anybody Stash Pipes for Safe Keeping?

I have secured a 50 year contract to store my pipes in Sable's hermetically sealed pipe vault.

The #99's The 99 is comparable to a Savinelli 320 in size and shape.

Show Off Your LHS Pipes Here

This patent era LHS Park Lane Deluxe is the latest addition to the Stern collection. I've ran across a few of these but I held out until I found a Park Lane with a Cumberland stem. This is one of three on the LHS grail list. A Canadian and squat bulldog with Cumberland stems are some of the...

Smoke Shop Disappointment ( South PGH )

Is it mostly a cigar/tobacco shop with pipes just being a side note? I have two pipe shops in my area. The one closest to me is mainly a wine and cigar shop with some pipe stuff. Even under those circumstances the owner is very knowledgable about pipe tobacco and pipes. He's very receptive to...

Two Is Company. 320's A Crowd (pics)

I've never had a bad Savinelli smoker but the 320 is one of the best smokers in their lineup. @jpm I bought all three 320's new. I like fixing up old estates, but nearly all my Savinelli's have been bought new.

Two Is Company. 320's A Crowd (pics)

I like my 320's so much I added a third along with a Savinelli 3 pipe stand. The newest addition is the Savinelli Spring. The Spring is described as a classic style without any embellishments. Natural finish and non-oxidizing stems.

A Brief Tribute To Dr. Grabow

I love my Grabow's. I can smoke 3-6 bowls in one pipe before they get soggy. I'm usually packing a couple of Grabow's in my pipe kit when I'm on the go.

Pipe 6 of a Peterson Seven Day Set

That's a beautiful set. If I had to pick a favorite I'd choose the Craftsman. The Limited is a stunner as well.

    GBD Unique

I didn't soak the stem for this one. I just wet sanded. The rhondelle was mint so I didn't want to disturb the finish. Fnord, I don't have any tricks for removing oxidization around the logos. I just carefully wet sand around them. I talked the owner into taking credit for this Unique. It...

    GBD Unique

I cleaned up this beautiful old GBD Unique for a forum friend. Although he usually wishes to remain anonymous, I thought this pipe needed to be seen. This is a nice original survivor. It had some mild tooth chatter, stem oxidization, and some cake build up, but was in overall good condition. I...

Do You Have A Small Pipe?

Here are a couple more tiny briars. This billiard is the smallest functional pipe I've seen. A standard sized Xikar lighter used for reference.

    Dunhill Bulldog Reconditioning

Nice work! I like a darker stain on Dunhill's. Nice job fixing the out of round and the inner rim bevel looks great.
