    Furniture polish on pipes?

I don't think it will damage the briar, but I wouldn't recommend using it for pipes. The chemicals can't be good to smoke, not to mention lemon scented tobacco. I would swab the bowl chamber and insides of your pipes before smoking them.

    Satou Rhodesian with Tsuishu

That is stunning. I'd miss my daughters wedding if this is the consolation prize.

    Savinelli Estella 316

I've been hunting for the right Estella and finally found it. I wanted a dark stained vulcanite version. I'm extremely picky about rusticated pipes but the rustic patterns of the Estella very alluring. I hope some of the resident historians will chime in on the Estella line. Some sites claim the...

    My 1st Dunhill

Not exactly studio quality pictures but here it was upon arrival. It was originally dark red. Pretty close to the same shade as the Pete Killarney sitting directly behind it.

    1912 BBB

This pipe was a little rough but a solid survivor. After much discussion about what to do with this one, Scrooge decided to lightly repair and preserve it. I happily agreed. It just didn't seem right to tear it down and completely refinish it. The finish is all original. The sterling was hand...

I named my Shepherd Bronson because if anyone breaks into my house, they have a Death Wish.

    Charles Bronson

Japanese commercials featuring American actors are always strange. I'm huge fan of the cheesy Death Wish movies. My German Shepherd is named Bronson. Charles Bronson was a real life badass too. He was a belly gunner for the Air Force in WWII.

Steve is a great guy and master repairman. I like how he posts the history and info of each pipe he restores.

Removing Surface Scratches On Acrylic Stems

You can use the same treatments for acrylic as vulcanite. Wet sanding, filing, buffing.

    Is This Pipe Over-Reamed?

Mr GreenFelt ebay guy overreams and over buffs the majority of his pipes. I see that green backdrop often while browsing ebay. Even if it's a shapeless blob, shiny sells on ebay.

That's an oldie but a goodie. I remember that one like it was yesteryear. That's a pre bowl carb pic if memory serves correct. Scrooge, I'm glad to see you posting pictures of that extensive collection. Can we see some man cave pics... Please? :puffy:

I have about 15 or 20 Sterncrest's and they all smoke great. I expect this one will be too. I haven't fired it up yet.

    Kirsten

Thanks Scrooge. I only wish to remain anonymous when I work on a pipe that has already been "restored" by an eBay slash and hacker. Lol. This pipe is about 5 inches long if that helps with dating.
