    Oddball GBD - 9438 Legacy

I can see these floating around the mid 1970's disco's, enjoyed by a gentleman wearing a leisure suit. Al, might I add: while listening to Frank Zappa's song Don't you want a man like me. Nice work as always. I've only seen a few of these military mount 9438's.

Fox News Contributor Has Pipe Rack On Desk

I didn't mean to imply that he smokes them during the broadcasts. But he has smoked a pipe during a few of his short segments. I was able to make out a bent Peterson in the rack. Louder with Crowder.

Fox News Contributor Has Pipe Rack On Desk

Disclaimer: not trying to provoke any political discussions. Fox News contributor Steven Crowder has his own radio/video broadcast prominently featuring a pipe rack on his desk in each show. These aren't just props, he smokes. I thought this was a big thumbs up for us. Pretty cool. Although...

    Estate Pipe Cleaning, Swollen Briar?

Try rubbing a pencil lead all around a tennon that doesn't want to go back in. If that doesn't help, don't force it. Let it dry out for a few days and try again.

GBD - Help to indentify the period they were made

The Century model is roughly from 1950, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary. 1850-1950.

    Kaywoodie Logo

Nice collection. I've done a few logo transplants. They seem to be a uniform fit if they're from the same era. Soak the donor in alcohol over night and pop it out with an exacto knife. Good luck getting one. An ebay beater might be your best bet. I looked through my fixer pile. I have a few KW's...

    Bulldog & Author Resto Before/After 12/12/16

When I received this one I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. Al (ssjones) posted a GBD cavalier Prehistoric some time ago, and it was absolutely stunning. I loved the color combo so I made my own. LHS Sterncrest 14K

(YouTube & Netflix)Short Animation about a Man Searching for his Lost Pipe

I ran across this short animated film on Netflix titled The House Of Small Cubes. The description reads: His favorite pipe is missing in his flooded house. Searching for it means more than going for a swim. It's only 10 minutes long and worth checking out. After all how often does something...

    Straightening A Mouthpiece

Don't boil. It will oxidize the stem. Sometimes this is very difficult to remove after boiling. Slowly heat with a flame the area to be adjusted. Pictures would be a tremendous help in finding a solution.
