Photos Of 19th Century Briar Pipes?

Very nice looking pipes. It just goes to show you silver accents always have and always will look classy. I wish more pipes would come in a custum case like the ones you have. Its a nice touch instead of a cheap sack.

Are Certain Style Of Pipes Easier To Smoke To The Bottom?

Life is to short to smoke bad tasting tobacco. If it tastes bad or just won't stay lit i dump it and pack another pipe. I have smoked all the way down but that isn't my goal unless im breaking in a new pipe. You can dry tobacco more and pack lighter and relight a bunch at the end if you want...

Video: Gawith & Hogarth Factory - Making Rope/Twists

Very cool to see indeed how much time and effort went into making a twist. I wonder if its still anything like that now. Did make me laugh when they where casually ponding nails in it and setting on the floor.

    Silver Spigot Polishing

As others have stated jewellers cloth is probably best. Or use my grandpa's trick of fine wood ash and spit or water on a cloth for vary tarnished or dirty stuff. Dampen cloth and dip in ash and rub on. Then wipe clean with another damp cloth. Works on a bunch of stuff.

Doing some math in my head. I would say 16 to 18 pipes worth in a 50 g tin for me.
