Welcome from S.W Michigan. Life's to short to overthink things sometimes. It is a great way to unwind and relax for me. Keeps me from working or puttering about for an hour or so which im prone to do. If you dont care for it your out 20 or so bucks not a huge deal in my opinion. Heck i have rolled the dice that much on a few 6 packs.

Welcome to the forum! As others have said, just pick up a Missouri Meerschaum cob and a 2 oz tin of tobacco and give it a shot. There is a ton of info on here that I (and many others) have used to answer questions about how to do it. And hey, it's likely that you've got a little free time on your hands these days to learn.

Howdy! Take some time and read through the forum. Look around and contemplate it. If the desire is still there, try it. If you like it, congratulations and welcome to the hobby. If you don't like it, you will have at least given it an honest and thoughtful try. I wish you the very best. Cheers!

Welcome from central N.C. If you are old enough to buy tobacco legally and you feel you'd like to try a pipe, give it a try. A Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipe or a little fancier starter kit like the Savinelli will get you started.
