Tobacco Storage Question
I just got my tobacco order in and had ordered a few pounds of the same blends so i thought i would see how much i could fit in a quart jar. Not as good as chasingembers i was able to fit a pound in a quart jar. I used my sanitized coffee mug to smash/press down the tobacco as i went.- Tommy Boy

Guys say cobs because they are cheap and if you break it or odd chance you don't enjoy the hobby your not out alot. But a nice pipe is a good place to start for sure. How Long Can Tobacco Stay Good Once It’s Opened?
Short answer depending on blends and type of tin but generally safe for a few weeks to maybe a month at most in open tin. If your not going to finish it in that time frame better to jar it up.- Tommy Boy
