I admit I am a watch guy. The engineer in me likes the workings of automatic watches so that is my preference. For your uses there are some watches, Citizen comes to mind, that sync timezones from your phone through Bluetooth. Even without a phone they still function. Might be a good feature...- elessar

Not sure how far you want to go but there is a nice little shop in Forest Lake which is north of twin cities. Big Apple I think is the name. They had a good selection last time I was in. I don't know about Mankato and Albert Lea.- elessar

Looking For Info On A Comoy's Pipe X296
Not sure why it's un-graded but after a reaming and good cleaning it is a heck of a good smoker. Also the draw is rather open which I prefer. From what I have read here, this is not normally the case with Comoy's. Perhaps this is another difference in the post-merger pipes.- elessar

Thank you both for the info. Mine definitely looks painted, not even a one piece logo. It doesn't look stamped to me even, just paint. Definitely post merger. Looks to be drilled quite well though. I picked this pipe up recently but I am confused on what I've got here. It is stamped Comoy's in serif font straight line, but there is no grade stamped below Comoy's. A Better Lighter
I've got a Xikar Resource II that I like pretty well. It's butane with a built in tamper and scraper. The tamper is a bit too small for my taste but it is nice that it is built in.
