Hesitation to Pay for Smaller Pipes

Yeah...When buying a bigger pipe you are getting more briar for the buck but reason for me buying big pipes is that they fit in the hand nicely and smoke longer...I will always make time to finish the bowl no matter how big it is...most vintage pipes were really small and usually my bigger pipes...

Well...Nice pipe....I prefer bigger bent in stems as well...there is a way you can bent vulcanite stems heating the stem up with heat lamp or maybe a candle but I always let a restoration guy to do it...he charge me a few bucks for it only...let me know if you want contact on him...older stems...

Millenium is absolutly stunning! The shape is very pleasing ..beautifuly curved long stem..The bowl on a Pub is just too big to my eye...And definitely needs a tapered stem!! nice picture!

For some reason everytime I hold pub and house p. together I cannot help myself to see the beauty of a house pipe..The pub shape somehow looks unbalaced shapewise-bowl is too big for such a thin shank ,stem bent is wrong etc..Both would benefit to have a tapered stem..it just looks so much...

Its late since you already figured it out but I would just drill it with bigger size drill bit all the way through...2min easy fix...bamboo sometimes does not align with a hole in a briar...

The New Short army stem looks amazing but offering shapes like B42 or XL16 with this stem is politicaly incorrect..Just saying😃

Seems like people like those fat 9BCs or XL 90s...first De Luxe (9BC) is Made in Ireland, second Dublin &London is republic and Limerick XL 90 is also republic pipe...Limerick bowl is slightly shorter..I Have seen some new revival 9Bs the other day personally and noticed a few rusticated bowls...
