"The Circuit" Acorn. I cried "uncle" early on this one. The camera work was worse than "Suspects". In one bar scene, there was a quick zoom in, a fast zoom out, a blurry head shot missing most of the head and another missing most of the chin. All with one man walking into the bar. The...- prndl

"Suspects". Acorn This might have been a good series but for the director who thought he was the next Fellini. I think it follows three detectives around a London police station. The problem was me trying to follow those three detectives. The director spent maybe 7 seconds and 3 shot angles...- prndl

"Mr. Mercedes". Peacock. Stephen King fans may rejoice at this one but, like most of Mr. King's offerings lately, I found it tedious and predictable. Mr. Gleeson seems to fit the bill but all the other characters ring hollow for they are not really characters. They are merely cartoon...- prndl

"The Irregulars". Netflix. If you click on this movie thinking you've finally found a great storyline around the Baker Street Irregulars, you're gonna be really pissed. "Nomadland". Hulu. This is a good film, well written, acted and directed. That said, it is long, long on character and short, short on plot. Somewhere in the first half of the movie, you may even wonder if there is even a point to it all. As well, I did find it ironic that the characters...- prndl
