    I doubt it's illegal as long as they tell you before they do it. I get that treatment every time I go to a concert, the airport, etc. It's not like you're being forced to go in...it still sucks though. I'd think the mitigation of risk they're achieving would be trumped by the loss of business...

    I've never had much luck with the fold and stuff way of packing. I always wind up blocking the draft hole.

    Rub it out, let it dry for an hour to a day (depending on how moist it is). Also, be careful with your packing. Try keeping it loose. I had similar problems at first (I've not had FVF but have had plenty of others) and those things all seemed to help me.

    As to the places to purchase your tobacco, any of the sponsors on this site are very good. I generally tend to buy from smokingpipes.com or pipesandcigars.com because they typically have better prices (at least that's been my experience).

    Aye, that I did. I've got several beer and mead brewing books set up to study before I get home, then I'm gonna go nuts. I think I'm going to try to brew something once per week. Too much you think? I'm really excited about the mead though because I love the stuff I've had (mainly Chaucer's)...

    It's the Mac Baren, not the Virginia. That blend did the exact same thing to me and I love Virginias. Same with one of their straight burley blends. I wound up giving them to a member here and he had the same experience.

    I've dedicated 1 pipe to it. Nothing else gets smoked out of that pipe. It's great. Didn't care too much for it the first bowl but it just got better after that.

    @Bigvan I've been in IT for 12 years now (I think) and I'm still the only person I know in the field who's degree is actually in IT. Most others either have no degree or have one in a different area.
