    My Penzance got a little fuzzy towards the end of the jar...yes, yes I did. I'm not advising to nor condoning smoking tobacco in that condition, just stating that I did and noticed no difference. Reflecting back I most likely won't do it again.

    For what it's worth, I've got a Brigham pot dedicated to "Gaslight" from G.L. Pease. I've always used the rock maple insert.     My favorite so far is Pipers Pleasure (3.5 rated). Pennsylvania Dutch Treat (another 3.5) for a great mild Cherry. And, Northwoods (3.6 rated) for a good bulk English.

    What about putting it in a deep freeze? This is standard practice for cigars with tobacco beetles (I have had to do it on two different occasions)and it saved my humidor. Granted beetles are not mold, just curious.
