What Time of Day do you Enjoy your Pipe the Most?

Always in the evening when the work is done. I’ve never been able to smoke when mowing the lawn or driving.

    Blessing or Curse?

For the longest time I was convinced that I would not care for them. In addition to the reviews, I have purchased several estates that were strongly ghosted from lakeland’s and they smelled awful. Well, Boswell’s sells Gawith and Hoggarth by the one or two once package and I guess I was feeling...

    Blessing or Curse?

I enjoy a multitude of tobacco’s in every genre. Currently, I have been smoking several Lakeland’s from my cellar and having a great time. I’m eagerly waiting on a small sample of Coniston Cut Plug for this Friday’s smoke. If I like it, I will buy a box. Resistance seems futile. The TAD is strong..

Forgot Where I Left Some Tobacco, and Still Can't Find It!

I was organizing my jar collection a while back and discovered 4oz of Balkan Sobranie and some Penzance I had forgotten about. Man, that was better than finding fifty bucks in a coat pocket.

Aromatics Help: Not Just Something that Smells Nice

Blackberry Winter from Ted’s Pipe Shoppe in Tulsa Ok. The best berry aromatic I’ve ever smoked. Great hands on service, no web presence to speak of, so call them. Old Toby from The Country Squire. I just discovered this and really like it. Rum and Maple from Wilke is a go to aromatic, just slow...

What is Your New Year's Pipe Resolution?

Not a fan of resolutions so these are more like end of the year reflections that might be achievable in the new year. -No more fixer uppers! -I’m really bad about buying a skanky pipe to restore. -No more tobacco! -Early on, I’d smoke one bowl and “Oh this is really good,,,buy...

Oldest Pipe Smoker Here or Elsewhere

My dad is 87, I’m 30years behind him. He still puffs a pipe or cigar once or twice a week. My Mom sent a picture of him splitting wood with a 16lb maul a few days ago! Some of my fondest memories are of me and him sitting on the back porch smoking and sipping bourbon.

    Opinions on Kiribi lighters

I have this same model and really like it. Almost use it exclusively. It survived washing and drying in my pants pocket, no problem.

Has Anyone Sent Pipes to Smokingpipes for Credit?

I have numerous times all with great satisfaction. I took store credit every time. Sometimes I waited for a sale to use it, other times I got pounds of tobacco.

Who got a New Pipe for Christmas?

Well, this sounds nuts but, I bought a Dr Bob Christmas pipe months ago and gave it to my wife with instructions to give it to me at Christmas. It’s dark green with his rustication and has a white, red and green swirl stem! Family Christmas is this Thursday, can’t wait.

100+-. I’ve added a Dr. Bob, Scotty Piersel, Bill Walther and Walt Hettinger this year. Oh, and a POTY from NASP that should be here early 2022.
