I bought this Corona made, but branded as Savinelli about 30 years ago. Never failed me, except the gold plating is wearing off. It's brass underneath so it's not that obvious. I'm sure that it will crap out at some point, but for now, using 14x filtered fuel and good flints it's still going strong.
I did buy a Kiribi a couple of years ago to try a different lighter, and it has worked fine. I just like the ease of use with this one more.

My favorite lighters are the IM Corona Pipemaster. I still have a couple of IM Corona Old Boys but I like my Pipemasters better. They have a larger fuel tank and a longer tamper than the Old Boy.

My Gold Pipemaster

My Pipemasters I bought for each kid( 4) when I feel they are responsible enough to not lose it. PC had a great deal on them. Retail was 185, paid 113.00 for them.

This was also on sale so I had to get it.

This was my first Pipemaster that I bought years ago. I now have two because I found the original.

This Pipemaster was also on sale and I couldn't resist. I really have a bad lighter fetish.

These lighters were from my cigar days.
From left to right the first 5 are Duponts, followed by a Davidoff which was made by Dupont and has an angled flame for pipes, and that last one on the right is my first IM Corona Old Boy.

Kiribi is OK. But nothing beats Bic or Zippo. << Snipped bits out >>
For some categories! (such as cost, reliability, and replaceability, and wind proofing of the Zippo.)

But for sheer aesthetics and fine workmanship, Old Boys are awesome. And I like my Kiribis, too. To each his own!

Note: I don't like flames that are pointed at a pipe! I feel the flame should be drawn down to the tobacco, as it gives a good light and is less likely to soot the rim.

I prefer the good old fashioned Zippo. Other than a Bic, it's the only lighter that never lets me down under any conditions. I use the regular Zippo pipe insert inside a regular Zippo case. All the others are nice decorations on my shelf. This is the one I am currently using;

You need to pair this with your next smoke:

It's funny, my friend and I toyed with the idea of getting that produced by a distiller—it's a fake ad we ran as a back cover of a magazine that we work on together—we need to discuss it further and figure out the logistics to see if we could actually pull it off. We could imagine people into all things Lovecraftian digging it.
I rarely drink at all, but I would absolutely buy a bottle or two of that. I would love to see you guys pull it off.
