Do you have a slide gauge, a calliper to measure the diameter of the tenon or mortise. Maybe there are chances to get a preformed stem.- UB 40

I have been working with clay to restore half timbered houses with clay fillings here in Germany for some time. We didn’t try to fix them with meerschaum. And of course there is a lot of online material that leads you right into geological stuff and minerals using the phone.- UB 40
