Headed to the tobacco store, MB Virginia was out of stock. Switched to Navy Flake, that I had in the 1970s, when I was 15, before I got into cigarettes. Nice everyday smoke. Scratched off the warning „Rauchen ist…“- UB 40

Paykoc Briar Churchwarden with 2 cracks and a hole in the shank
Superglue for the holes will do the job. For the crack in the shank I maybe wouldn’t do anything, as long it holds the stem in place. I’ve got two pipes with similar cracks, and in both cases they don’t move further. Maybe the tenon was a little bit too tight anyways, or the wood shrinked...- UB 40

Yes, I listened to Jeff Buckley with “Once I was a Soldier” in St. Ann’s Cathedral on you tube, the similarity is strange. Although it is known that father and son hardly met in their livetimes. And both died by let’s call it accident. Strange duplicity of fate.- UB 40
