    Is This Acceptable?

I was wondering when someone was going to mention "dip staining" :ROFLMAO:

    Is This Acceptable?

Aren't we a strange bunch! We worry about stain, bowl coatings, different wood, mouthpiece material, lighter fuel and wondering if it's ok to smoke them all the while sucking in all the carcinogens in tobacco. We are a strange bunch, but then again, why make the tobacco more harmful than it...

    Sandalwood Pipes

I think briar is the only wood I've smoked. At least I don't remember any other wood.

    Sandalwood Pipes

Personally, I would not buy one. In reality, can the wood be any more harmful than the tobacco? But then, would you want to add an additional risk? Just a thought.

I Hated Half & Half—Because of the Burley?

I'd have to agree with some posters. It's probably not the burley as much as the toppings. A very popular tobacco. I smoke it occasionally and really like burley but those toppings they use are very different.

How to Deep Clean my Pipe?

Im not a wet smoker, my pipes don't gurgle but I constantly use pipe cleaners. Sort of like preventive maintenance. I ream them when needed but rarely deep clean them. For me, pipe cleaners during the smoke prevents a lot of future trouble. Besides the pipe and tobacco I always need three things...

    I Finally Get It

I find sometimes I can even avoid a relight using just the tamper.

    I Finally Get It

Welcome! Relighting is just part of it. You got it right when you realized it's to be enjoyed slowly! Don't forget to use your tamper as well. We collect pipes and lighters and tampers for good reason I guess.
