Reiner blend 71 - gone or rare?
Sadly, Esterval’s has a $135 minimum so when I order from them it’s roughly $190 to my door. Last order came out to roughly $23/tin and all but 1 tin were 100 gram which is not bad at all.- Auxsender

Just put this in a 195° oven. We’ll see what happens after 2.5 hours. Pulled out a bowl’s worth before I put the jar in the oven I mean stove. Gonna compare the two next week in my 2 nearly identical MM Washingtons.- Auxsender

Perhaps not in the UK but for sure similar products exist in the EU. HU My Red Fox immediately comes to mind as a similar product to Simply Red. I’m certain there are others I’m unaware of.- Auxsender

2016 CRF Issues
Jeremy Reeves has addressed this publicly and recently but I don’t recall where. Here maybe? I think he said the occurrence of mold in C&D tins is like 1% which is excellent. It’s extremely unlikely you will encounter mold. If you do, contact C&D and they will replace them hassle free.- Auxsender

Buying Pipe Tobacco in SoCal
I’m pretty sure that in California, if you’re over the age of 21, it is lawful to send and receive tobacco shipments. Perhaps you’re under 21. There is a Tinder Box in Costa Mesa. They for sure sell pipe tobacco.- Auxsender
