I have an Aran B10. It’s one of my favorite pipes, smokes like a dream. It has a narrow, deep bowl, so I use it for more straightforward blends like VaPers, burleys, or straight VAs.
An update for this thread: I opened the jar. The smell has mellowed noticeably, so I packed a bowl. Not my favorite smoke, but it’s decent now. That original offensive smell is on my fingers now though lol. No bad batch here, by my judgement.
Having what’s left of the GH Whisky Twist I cut up yesterday (sufficiently dry today), this time in a Peterson Carroll of Carrollton. Celebrating an amazing lunch of chicken curry at the local Indian restaurant. Maximum satisfaction all around. Cheers!
GH Whisky Twist in a clay. First time with this tobacco. It tastes great and packs a PUNCH! I figured out I need to let it dry more next time. Jamaican rum and coke to round out my back yard reading session. Happy Sunday!
Royal Yacht in a basket pipe that was my entry into this cool pastime. A simple ‘Italy’ is stamped on the underside of the shank. As for the blend, I don’t know why people find it so polarizing; I find it unremarkable - not bad, not great, not even unique. It smokes ok though.
