Make sure your collection doesn’t end up like this!

Had I not already had a 1950 birth year SK I would have bid on the auction just for it, I’m not saying this is totally horrible since Goodwill will benefit from the auction and for all I know that was the intention of their owner, all I’m pointing out is if you have some wishes for your pipe...

Make sure your collection doesn’t end up like this!

It’s not mine, someone donated this stuff to Goodwill and it is being auctioned off, I’m not a bidder either just though you all might wish to see what happens at times although this is the largest lot I’ve seen on Goodwills auctions. Going to make someone happy digging through it. banjo

    Seriously great smoke

Knock another one off the bucket list. Having kept drooling over the pipes made by Silver Gray I happened upon this lovely pipe she calls the Canoe, it has a Cumberland Stem and the workmanship is indeed splendid, the feel in hand is remarkable and her stem work rivals the best in my arsenal...

Can the stem on a corn cob pipe be taken out ?

Use a hair dryer to heat the shank but be wary not to over heat it so it burns. Slow and steady bending slightly from left to right and up and down then rotate the shank, it should work, regards. banjo

What Pipe tops Your PAD List Right Now?

I really like some of the craftsmanship and beauty the pipe maker known as Silver Gray puts into her pipes and it had to be faith that a pipe she calls the Smooth Canoe would be the one to float my boat, so to speak, should have it in around 10 days or so, regards. banjo
