    Questions on Virginia Blends

I’d try Ascanian numbers 1 and 2. I’d also try Tumblin Dice though it is a VAper.

    A Progress Report

Damn man. So shitty. Sorry that’s happening. So true that getting old isn’t for the faint of heart.

    Beard Smell

Either switch blends to something you both like, quit smoking, or get a different wife.

    Excellent choices, pal.

    Favorite Vapor Coin

Mac Baren Royal Twist by a damn mile. It has some DFK in it so it’s not a pure VAPer but whatever; the shit is delicious.

    TAD Acquisitions 2024

Yeah. Gonna be a whirlwind of purchases. Classic yayboo. Yay for lots of baccy, boo for less money.

    TAD Acquisitions 2024

I sure hope so because it tastes way better when it’s smoldering in a pipe than fermenting in a tin. Life’s too short and we’re never owed time. Smoke it while you can.

    Are Windcaps Over?

I use software called Melodyne to make people that are literally incapable of singing sound like they can sing. Not the same thing you’re talking about, but adjacent in that, technology has allowed the talentless to participate.

HU Tobacco Coming to the States

What are you after here, a sales pitch? Are you or are you not a pipesmagazine Lifer? Just buy some. Maybe you’ll like it. Maybe you won’t. Isn’t that part of the fun?

    Promotions & Sales?

Yes but in my opinion, that would cut down on aimless browsing and the retailers want you to browse. They want you to spend time on their site meandering. The more product consumers are exposed to, the better the odds that you’ll make a purchase you hadn’t planned on in addition to the...

    WCC Rouxgaroux

Thank you for setting me straight. Either way, I sure do love what you and Ernie do. Thanks for all the effort and love of the hobby, Jim.

    WCC Rouxgaroux

Old Black Magic Simply Orange 558 Flake Old Dominion Flake American Cut Plug Quint’s Own I love all of these. They are for sure topped so if that’s a “no” for you, maybe don’t. If you can get past that, I say dive in because these are all fantastic. I don’t really do Lat so I can’t make any...

    WCC Rouxgaroux

I don’t love Roux or Simply Red either. There are many WCC blends I do love though. Try something else if you feel like it.

    Rouxgaroux: A Rexminderx

Literally all of them. Ernie Q is a fucking tobacco ninja. Simply Orange Old Dominion 558 Old Black Magic American Cut Plug Quint’s Own Rhythm and Blues All of these blends are just phenomenal. I don’t dig Lat so I can’t comment on his Lat blends but I’m sure they’re as special as the other...

HU Tobacco Coming to the States

Call Watch City after roughly 2 pm and talk to Ernie. He sells em and he can tell you all about the tins. He’s been a big help whenever I’ve called.

    Favorite Codger Blend

Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture is about as close as I get to smoking a “codger” blend. While not a true codger blend, I believe it was created in the style. It’s mistly burley and it’s lightly topped and it’s wonderful any time.

Acrylic Stems vs Vulcanite Stems: A Comparison

I prefer acrylic as it requires 0 maintenance. I don’t want to worry about sunlight exposure or sanding the oxidation away when it inevitably appears. I just wanna smoke my pipes and not worry more than I already do. Most important to me is shape, then finish, then grain then stem material so...
