Is there a website that lists all the promotions and sales that are going on at the moment on major Internet stores?

I know about TurboTin, but I thought maybe there is another website that focuses on promotions.

Best to sign up for the email newsletters of vendors you like. They'll send you current promotions. Best sales are often just after Thanksgiving.

Sure, but wouldn't it be nice to have everything on one page.
Yes but in my opinion, that would cut down on aimless browsing and the retailers want you to browse. They want you to spend time on their site meandering.
The more product consumers are exposed to, the better the odds that you’ll make a purchase you hadn’t planned on in addition to the purchase you planned on.
I can’t imagine a retailer signing on to a program that limits the time consumers spend on their site.

I think you are right on point with this.

Even looking at how the websites are built, it doesn't seem like the retailers want their promotions to be machine-discoverable. Like, instead of using plain text or at least an easily identifiable css class or something they would just insert an image with some pictures and text in it. As humans, we can easily recognize a promotion banner; a web scraper would have no way of telling that.
Maybe if someone created an AI-based web scraper, that could help with identifying those banners. But without that, I think it would a huge pain to create and maintain a robot that would scan stores for sales and promotions.

Not sure about a website that lists them out, but I just ordered from P&C (unfortunately) because they had a deal going where you got a $20 gift card for every $50 you spend. I was already planning on ordering $100 worth of tobacco, so it worked out well. Free tobacco!

I was thinking about this the other day.

I had discovered that cigarpage.com had 30 packs of Oliva Os for 89.99 with free shipping, I wondered why we don't have a deals thread. That deal is gone now, but it seems like they have it every so often.

Is a deals thread kosher on this forum?

As for what good it might do... I reckon it might increase competiton, and help keep our retailers honest.

Exactly this!

Firstly, deals info being readily available would hopefully increase competition amongst the retailers.
Secondly, I'd think the retailers themselves should be interested in their deals being accessible by the widest audience possible. Because why they make deals in the first place is to attract new customers, and if the only way to learn about the deals is subscribing to their newsletter (which means you are already a customer) or finding their website accidentally, then this means that the strategy is not really working as it should.

I was going to suggest creating a (moderated) deals thread, however the issue with that might be that the forum is owned by a specific retailer who might be opposed to promoting other retailers via their platform.
