Is a Burnt Wall Something to Worry about?

OK, they replied. They said their expert or whatever said it's because of the "excessive heat during smoking pipes and the excessive use of pipe companion". Soooooo, all I have to say is FUCK Savinelli, I will never ever buy their shit again. The pipe was obviously coated because they saw the...

Is a Burnt Wall Something to Worry about?

This is really encouraging, thanks Must admit this whole situation stressed the hell out of me. I paid over 600 euros for 2 pipes. Will let you all know how this turned out after I get a reply from Savinelli.

Is a Burnt Wall Something to Worry about?

I've had 30 some pipes over the years, all bought brand new. Never had an issue like this until now. I'm aware that briar is wood and it's unpredictable. Is a Burnt Wall Something to Worry about?

Thanks for replies everyone, I think I'll try to return it. Fun fact - looks like it happened on another pipe I bought at the same time as this one. And that pipe is Savinelli Autograph too :/ Although the "crater" is somewhat smaller. This is the first time I bought pipes that cost that much...

Is a Burnt Wall Something to Worry about?

So recently I bought this Savinelli Autograph (brand new) and looks like there is a "hot spot" or something (not sure what's the word, looks like a hole started developing there). I'm smoking pipes for around 15 years and this never happened before. I'm 100% sure I didn't smoke it hot. The...
