I’m sorry this has happened. It’s a shame you attempted your own repair before contacting the seller (they might’ve accepted a return if you left it “as is”).
A problem with the pipe being permanently stuck in its present state that comes to mind—by default, Savinelli ships its 6mm filter pipes...
Getting ready to watch UFC Fight Night, which is starting early today. Having Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding in a Briar, Sweat, and Tears (BST) Large Curve (LC) Swan Neck 3/4 Bent Billiard.
UFC starts early today at 3:00 pm EST. I thought I’d squeeze in a pre-fight smoke before a deep chambered pipe comes out for the duration. Having Esoterica Tobacciana And So to Bed in a Savinelli Autograph Bent Dublin (Grade/Gruppo 0).

In the ’50s, a lot of pipe companies from Italy made similar looking bull figural pipes like this—I have one from Savinelli’s Genova shop with a horn stem.
Sounds yummy, but this is the first I’ve heard of it. When I saw the title, I was half expecting some weird concoction using Half and Half tobacco, or the dairy mix (Half and Half = Half Cream, Half Milk) used in coffee.

It’s always possible it was a collector that was searching for missing parts for incomplete pipes in his collection. Who knows? Maybe the person needs a Sasieni stinger. Or likes Frankenstein pipes. Or has no idea what he was buying.
George, the pipe is gorgeous.
Not to be too nitpicky, but the bottom of the moon doesn’t look parallel to the stem face edge—is it just the camera angle and/or lens distortion making it look off?
