Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

I thought about bidding on that Barling, but I couldn’t help but wonder if the mouthpiece was missing. I have seen cased Barlings with albatross bone extensions, but they all had an additional mouthpiece/stem. I’m just not well versed enough to pull the trigger on something like this without...

Going to have Captain Black Original (2018 or 2019—I didn’t make note of the two batches I had when I jarred them—it was part of the CIGARfest bundle both of those years) in a Missouri Meerschaum/Old Dominion Laughing King Cob, while I work on some Weird Tales illustrations.

    Italian-Made Cased Meer Mystery

There was a 19th Century importer of glass and pearls in Venice named Augusto Vaccari, but I don’t think there was any link to Genova/Genoa.

That sounds backbreaking! I remember when we leveled our yard and wheeled the excess dirt to fill a slope in the neighbour’s yard; then wheeling 5.5 cubic yards of pea gravel around the property. I’m glad that’s done (along with mowing lawn) and don’t envy your hauling all that dirt.

    Aging and Cellaring Tobacco

Aging can soften some rough edges on some ”not ready for prime time” tobacco, but it’s worth keeping in mind that most blends are created with the flavour profile at the time of release as the one to be consumed and experienced.
