    I have had a few tins over the years that when I went to open the tin the contents were bone dry. I would say 2 out of 200. I will take those odds and leave the tins as the are until it is time to smoke.

    All my mylar bags are vacuum sealed and the tobacco is loose inside. Never occurred to me to put a sealed tin in a mylar bag. All my tins rest normally in a dark cabinet. Dodged a bullet by luck or laziness I guess. :)

    Add Oxygen-Reduction Pack When Storing in Mylar

    I add one to my mylar bags and then heat seal them closed. I have half a closet full of mason jars all nice a tidy in a plastic tote now. So much better imo. I have maybe 2yrs into this method. Every bag I have opened, since sealing them 2 yrs ago, is pristine.

    Estate Prep

    I find it to be an excellent shank method but not worth the effort for the bowl. With this in mind you can put much less liquid and it is much safer. Salt treatment for the bowl works good enough for me so that is my attack plan when I retort a pipe.

    USPS Delays?

    3 packages out of 10 all shipped the same day (Feb 16) are still stuck at the Salt Lake Distribution center. When I filed a lost package on all 3, they were kind enough to close them with a generic email about covid and weather. Amazing service, I can't figure out why USPS is a financial mess.....

    I have cleaned up many Falcons. Some do have a clog in the aluminum body and a stiff piece of wire has always done the trick. If it is a stem clog then you should drill it out. I am happy to see they sent you the goods and I assume a new stem fixed it?
