    Ethyl Butyrate sounds like it would be nauseating but actually it has an orange-like taste. Diethyl glycol is poisonous if ingested but inhaling a small amount is probably harmless. An interesting list.

    That’s what I did too. A thin layer, then 24 hours or so to dry. Maybe three or four coats.

    Mr. Rain decided to give us a break (as much as we need his visitations) so I headed out for a nice smoke. Eastfarthing in a MM Hardwood. This is my first bowl of Eastfarthing, very enjoyable.

    Small is Beautiful ?

    My favorite clay is a Markus Fohr #13 which is fairly small. Usually it's sufficient. But sometimes a larger pipe is called for. Variety is the spice of life! 😀 Note that the bowl is oval in shape and not circular. So the volume of the chamber is less than that of a briar of equivalent size.
