    Ii agree with Pipeaguy... You can't go wrong with a Sav, I own two and are both great smokers... The St. Claude pipes are pretty decent too.mfor $33 and some elbow grease you can't go wrong with both of those pipes.

The dowel method that Rigmedic suggested is good too and I do use it on seriously nasty estate pipes... In fact I just used it on a small bulldog an antique...
