    Help with tobaccos

I too am nic sensitive. For an English,I would recommend Peter Stokkebye English Oriental Supreme. It was my first English and non-aro and I've been hooked ever since. McClelland blends tend to be low in nic. I really like their British Woods. Also you might look at Hearth and Home at Pipes and...

What is the most "incense like" blend

Here's what Russ said in an answer to that same question in an email a couple of years ago. "The incense-like aroma comes from the combination of Latakia and Orientals, usually Macedonian-type." You can go to P&C and type macedonian into the search functionand see what comes up.

    Best Syria Latakia Options

Arno, in a earlier post you said McConnell doesn't have any Syrian lat, so is this cyprian? http://www.pipesandcigars.com/pipe-tobacco/73355/mcconnells-pure-latakia/ http://www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/by-maker/mcconnell/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=3403 both sites state that it is Syrian, I'm confused.

    AL (anonymous latakiaholics)

You could always get some blending lat and add it to what you already have. Last year I got some blending lat from SG, GH&C,C&D and McClelland. I love the lat and have enjoyed it straight.

What I like, What I dislike, What next

One of my favorites is Ambassador blend from P&C. I also love Sunjammer and Mt. Marcy. Try some McClelland, most of their stuff is low in the nic dept. Two I like from McC are British Woods and 5125 Coyote Classic (which reminds me of FMC).

    Tobacco Shop Bias

The b&m near me charges too much for tobacco ($6.50 oz for PS and Lane), so I just buy pipes and accessories. They do however give free tobacco when you buy a pipe. They also give free samples if you bring in your pipe, which is how I became hooked on latakia (PS English Oriental Supreme).

Enough Latakia... I can't get enough..

You really should smoke some straight, it's good. One of my last orders contained 2ozs of blending latakia each fro McClelland, Sam Gawith, Gawith,Hoggarth, and Co, and Cornell & Diehl. Haven't tried them all yet, but what I have smoked was very enjoyable.
