That’s amazing and requires a lot of skill, I take my hat off to you sir. I’ve never tried using one before but would love to give it a go. Please post your progress somewhere here I’d be very interested. There’s some red dogwood growing around here but it’s still pretty immature but I’ll keep...

Salty Dogs in a Grabow Riviera with yellow spade logo, got this pipe NOS with a lot I brought a couple of years back. I’ve neglected it unfortunately but it’s a great one for plugs.

Have you tried making arrows from hazel? I’ve tried a few, you can straighten it while there’s still some sap left in the branches over a fire and the young ones grow pretty straight anyway, at least around here they do but they are fairly young trees. I’m probably telling you what you already...

👍👍Thank you sir, your patient isn’t far wrong although I don’t consider myself old at 57, just really unlucky 😅. Although not as unlucky as some so I try to count my blessings and take pleasure in the little things. Like yourself it’s my back that causes me the most grief, tricky things they are.

***What Are You Smoking, February 2024?***

I’m merely referring to its effects on one’s organs, opiates although highly addictive have little detrimental effect on the liver and kidneys etc compared to naproxen, I don’t think I’ve seen such a long list of side effects coming with any other medication compared to that stuff. I just...

Naproxen is notoriously bad for the liver and kidneys, morphine is safer, providing the dosage is correct of course.

Last one before I hit the sack tonight, Wessex BS in a lizard skin covered Club pipe. I’ve never heard of this brand before but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was a promotion from the Club mens magazine, you know, the one with the boobies and such.
